The Details

Here’s a list of the restaurants the tour will include.

Kick-off meal:  Lameloise

Last meal: La Rôtisserie du Chambertin

La Table d'Hôtes - La Rôtisserie du Chambertin
One Star: High quality cooking

Thomas Collomb is at the head of an outstanding table d’hôtes in Gevrey-Chambertin, in which nothing is left to chance! Flawless ingredients, most of which from organic, meticulously selected suppliers, recognisable, artfully presented dishes which unfold during a tasting menu rich in surprises and a stylish smart rustic interior. But there is more to come! The wine list is out of this world (well, this is the region!) and the service is professional and attentive, without being oppressive. The pinnacle of fine dining.

Ma Cuisine

Wine takes pride of place in this friendly bistrot with an outstanding selection of some 800 different bottles. The chef certainly knows his way around them, and is equally at ease in the kitchen. Diners delight in his homemade jellied ham with parsley, veal chop in jus and crème caramel. The dishes will have you coming back for more.

LAMELOISE
Three Stars: Exceptional cuisine

Ah, Lameloise! Just saying the name makes the connoisseurs of Burgundy and beyond quiver with pleasure. It is impossible to summarise in a few lines the history of this institution which began its star-studded career in… hold on to your hats… 1926! But make no mistake: despite its advanced age, Lameloise does not deal in nostalgia. Eric Pras, who arrived to head up the establishment in 2009, sums it up in one sentence, which is almost a mantra: “Tradition is the future.” Suffice to say, he has no intention of resting on his laurels. Faithful to the spirit of the place, as inspired as he is meticulous, the chef serenely turns out dishes that will knock your socks off, paying homage to the land (snails, Bresse poultry, Charolais beef, Morvan cazette), while remaining tuned into the zeitgeist. Very good selection of wines, especially by the glass. Expertly done

Maison du Colombier – Gastro Bar

Take pleasure in every moment – linger over a bottle, a glass, or your chosen dish. Snuggle into our period armchairs by candlelight, take a stool at the bar where the chefs congregate, or take yourself outside to the terrace as soon as the sun makes an appearance.

Enjoy your dining experience in the friendly and cozy atmosphere of the upstairs salon.

Outside, from spring onwards, the terrace comes alive, offering you a breathtaking view of the Collegiate Church of Notre-Dame, which is illuminated as night falls.

HBISTROT – HOTEL DE BEAUNE

Discover the charm of bourgeois cuisine, which has made the reputation of French gastronomy, our gastronomic restaurant, the Bistro de l’Hôtel, has all the assets to seduce you.
From the “Bistro” spirit, it keeps a form of simplicity in the cooking because the exceptional quality of the products proposed is enough for itself. Eggs Cocotte with Melanosporum or Alba truffle depending on the season, Grilled Whole Line Bass or our signature dish Poularde de Bresse, are some of the perfectly executed classics that will make you come back to l’Hôtel de Beaune.

Ferme de la Ruchotte

Frédéric and Eva Ménager are your hosts in this old restored farmhouse. It is in a natural and protected setting in the heart of a forest near Beaune. Frédéric has worked in some of the best French restaurants and shares his passion for authentic products and creative cuisine. The meals are made from organic products, many produced on the farm by the Ménagers themselves.
